Del 6 al 9 de agosto se realiza la revisión anual de programas del CIAT con el fin de brindar un panorama general de los diferentes temas que componen el Centro e identificar estrategias para integrar y fortalecer la investigación del CIAT dentro del portafolio del CGIAR. Personal de la sede principal y de las regiones (África, Asia y América Latina y el Caribe) se reúnen en esta oportunidad para discutir asuntos claves estratégicos para cada región, analizando iniciativas para lograr los impactos esperados y obtener mayores recursos de cofinanciación.

En la foto observamos un aspecto de este trabajo en equipo que, tal como es costumbre en el CIAT, se caracteriza por su multiculturalidad, su diversidad de opiniones y el aprendizaje en beneficio de la agricultura global.

CIAT’s Annual Program Review (APR) is being carried out in Headquarters from August 6th to 9th. APR allows the organization to see a broad picture of the different topics that make up the center and identify strategies to integrate and strengthen CIAT’s research in the CGIAR’s portfolio. Headquarters and Regions (Africa, Asia and Latin America) personnel come together for this opportunity to discuss strategic topics and analyze initiatives that aim to contribute to achieve expected impact and leverage funding opportunities.

In the photo we can see an instance of teamwork that is, as usual for CIAT, being carried out in a multicultural environment of diverse opinions and learning for the ultimate benefit of global agriculture.
